Marine Plastic by Steve Mcpherson

[Chapter: Craft]

We all know how loathsome it is to see discarded plastic pieces appearing in the sea and in nature parks (not great to see a plastic bag half buried in Mount Ophir).

For over 15 years Steve Mcpherson has been gathering all sorts of bits and pieces from the beaches of North Kent Coast of the UK. What’s phenomenon about his project called Marine Plastic, is that the objects are collated by type or colour and arranged in unique compositions.

Let’s remind ourselves to be mindful of the way we treat our trash.
