Parting of the brown ink

One of my favourite brown-inked pens gradually stopped flowing and couldn’t write anymore.

Removing the pen casing revealed that 2 sections of the ink stream had parted. How strange. I took a piece of thin wire and push through to see if I could merge the parted seas. They did converge for a while but parted ways yet again, in a very messy manner. Oops.

I shall be looking out for another brown pen.
