After realising how viable it is to stack birthday candles to construct a star, I decided to grab more to make a few linear letters. And this is how it went.
Birthday candles stay lit for merely a few seconds before they are tossed out. Reuse those to form fun shapes and cap letters.
SUPPLIES
- Birthday candles
- Glue
- Knife cutter
HOW-TO STEPS
I found Glossy Accents, which was what I had on hand, held on better to the candles than white glue. A pen knife neatly sliced those smaller pieces that make some lettering a little easier, like for the E, K and Ys.
Make YAY and shine like a star!
These candles are meant for decorating only, refrain from lighting them up on a cake or elsewhere.
How fun! Loving this.
Pretty use of candles. Thank you.
