Yad Vashem, the Holocaust museum
[Chapter: Overseas]In the fall of 2005, I made a Bible study trip to Jordan and Israel with a group of fellow Christians. And due to a tight tour schedule, we were given one hour to visit the Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. In silence we begged for more time but we knew it wasn’t going to happen.

We were given this visitor brochure and this thought came to me as I looked at this map…the layout of the atrocities of men and the accounts of those who live to tell.

Holocaust? I remembered Schindler’s List movie which I saw in singapore many years ago, the movie was and still is banned here. To think of the millions who died unnecessarily, its outrageous. You seem to do a lot of travelling in the past, do you still do it now?

Yes, this part of history is terrible, it’s good to remember the people who died and all their suffering.
