WTWY: Catherine at Little Glowing Lights

[Chapter: What travels with you]

Catherine at Little Glowing Lights is here to share her 5 must-haves with us. Since she’s heading to Europe in a matter of days, isn’t it most timely to be a part of this series?! Thanks so much Catherine and have a more than fantastic trip!

  1. A Scarf – Always light and easy to carry but incredibly useful, this one is light weight wool.
  2. Sunglasses – A bit like the scarf, so useful, mine are prescription because I’m so blind, a definite must have.
  3. Handcream – I always use hand cream and couldn’t not carry it with me when traveling.
  4. Travel books, notebook and diary – I’m heading off on my first trip to Europe very soon and I have a few travel books I plan to take, this Fodors Paris one seems really good. Note books and a diary are essential for carrying useful and important information and also my thoughts while away.
  5. Umbrella – I’d definitely prefer to carry an umbrella with me always, you never know when you’ll get caught out, this one is so light and compact.

Some memories of my maiden trip to western Europe (oh mine, that’s almost 20 years ago!) are still fresh in my head and it’s really nice to have those flashbacks :)

If you like to share your travel indispensables, just send me (mail at bloomize . com) your list of top 5 items and a picture.

I know, it’s so nice to get flashbacks of past vacations! I always have a scarf with me even if I’m not travelling.
