Watercolour camouflage with Zig Clean Colors (Video)

Chapter: Getting Crafty

My nephew recently entered national service so for his birthday card this year, I drew inspiration from the army’s uniform.

It seemed only rightful to have a bushy mixed of addons to intensify the camouflage atmosphere. I have never used this much green until now.

I had tried a few different ways to create a camouflage scene but found that the Zig pens gave me the best result. A total of three greens and a brown went into the coloured background, alternating between Deep Green, Mid Green, Olive Green and Dark Oatmeal. The key to making the background realistic was to draw in swirly patterns side by side leaving no gaps between.

Check out the colouring and assembling process on this video!
