Skytrees and skywalk

[Chapter: City rounds]

Last evening I was at an event that launched the light and sound show centering at the OCBC Skyway, which is an aerial skywalk connecting two of the 42-m tall Supertrees. These “trees” are found in Gardens by the Bay, our island’s newest downtown garden that spans a generous area of 101 hectares. The garden is also close to this barrage.

I snapped these shots (amidst the grey skies above) to share with you what I saw.

We wondered if the show was going to be cancelled when it started raining pretty hard while we were all nibbling our cocktails. However the rain came to halt before eight, and the show went on.

Guests received this momento in a petite paper bag after the buggy ride to the carpark.

I can’t wait to visit the rest of the garden another day, especially the air-conditioned conservatories to see flowers of all sorts! Wait for my pictures okay?
