My summer palace bracelets

[Chapter: Craft]

Before my trip to Vietnam in May, I strung a bracelet so that I could wear in Hanoi.

With the coat of arm, blooms, foliage, baroquery swirls, and the caramel-golden-ebony medley it feels like I’ve been ushered into the grounds of a “summer palace”.

I’m much in love with the buttons that make up this structure. Sometimes I will put on a thinner second bracelet to add depth.

One of my aunts likes it and I was only too happy to string this one up for her a few days ago. The German-made sunburst button surface is made of glass!

There’s one other thing about both palaces, they are not heavy at all!
