Map-themed journal with interactive details

On this journal I’ve used portions of a world map to sew onto as side pockets. There are interactive elements on this journal as well.

Can you spot the globe? It’s a stamped image that rotates! Check out the video below.

I cut out the suitcases from the patterned paper (the same one used on the centre spread) and placed them in 3 locations. First location, I had them stacked up, 5 suitcases high, on one of the front pages. The second one was adhered behind a brad to hid the prongs while the third location were the ones backed with magnets on the middle spread. The 4 small tags are held together using snap fasteners. One of the things I like to add on is speech bubble and on this journal there are two which are made from repositionable chalkboard material.
