de Gournay wallpapers

I find it most intriguing when images seek to take over something physical. It’s like creating an extra seat just by drawing a life-size chair.

When I came across these hand-painted wallpapers from de Gournay, I was immediately drawn to these 2 scenes. Imagine sitting next to the Roman-era ruins in the city of Palmyra in Syria or encountering a wind so mighty that branches bend and blossoms fall, almost reaching the floor.

This unreal awareness is simply phenomenal!

Stunning…so beautiful, and very different for home decor! This particular wall treatment has such a lovely tranquil feel…I would like something like that in the living room! Happy Day, Clara ((HUGS))
