I had given it up for lost, but now I have hope. It's in the freezer, so maybe it will contract and then I can get it unstuck again. Then hopefully the oil will lube the punch and I can get it going again. Thanks so much for the tip! Got my fingers crossed! I have however used waxed paper and it does the trick every time. And to sharpen them, punch some aluminum foil a few times.
