Bridges for ridges

Today we went for a walk on bridges that connect up ridges. There are 3 bridges linking up 3 ridges, but we had time for only 2 bridges.

The first is Forest Walk. Strolling on strips of elevated mesh walkways lift us closer to the tall trees.

My wedges were noisy against the metal platform but that wasn’t the reason why we turned back after the second strip and walked to this next bridge, Henderson Waves.

Being the highest pedestrian bridge on this island, the Henderson Waves Bridge stands 36 meters above the road.

Don’t you just love the decking? It lines the entire bridge.

[If you're wondering about the waves, here they are.]

Sounds like a lovely walk. I think of you often Clara… I have your bloom knot hanging in my dining room. Though my son wishes I could move it to his room since pink is his favorite color. Thank you again!

I’ve been there too. It’s a nice walk – you get to exercise, enjoy the beauty of nature and cross the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore!
