Bloom before me: bringing back colourful dancers

[Chapter: City rounds, photo makeup]

As an ardent plaque reader, I didn’t miss this one that is standing right in the mist of a plot of Latanas outside the museum which I walk passed sometime ago, and caught a short glimpse of a colourful dancer fluttering.

It reads “Bringing back the colourful dancers – Singapore used to have more than 400 species of butterflies. The presence of butterflies and caterpillars is a good indicator of a clean environment free from pollutants. However over 35% of these species are now extinct…”

Hover over the image to see its SOOC (straight out of camera) state.
