Clouds above me – love at first sight

Yippie!

Sometime ago while we were on the road, I finally saw for the first time that “love is in the air”! If only the red lights had cooperated my hands would have stabilised a little.

I fiddled with texture over this shot. Hover to view its original condition. Which one do you like? I like them both.

Bloom before me – sea daisy

If it hadn’t been that one blob of bright yellow, I’d have missed snapping this tiny sea daisy (aka Wedelia biflora) that was flourishing “weedily” between wall and fence along Kelantan Lane.

Later that day I pampered this picture with a spa treatment using my PS action. Would you like to see a before and after look? Hover over the image to view its original condition.

[p.s. Along Kelantan Lane is a coffeeshop that houses several stalls famous for its laksa, chicken rice and bak kut teh.]

APS-C cameras

Cameras in a class of its own…DSLR-like qualities minus the bulkiness; the new Sony NEX 5 and Samsung NX10.

I got to play with them both in a shop last weekend, and the results I saw were pretty impressive. I’m kind of sold!

CA4LA

Popular Japanese hat maker CA4LA (pronounced “ca shi la”) designs head pieces that are so inviting.

I’m moved to try on some hats even though I don’t wear hats.
